Succinctly put...

5'3''
"Fun-sized" to be politically correct. I've always been a short person so I don't know why the fact keeps coming to me in profound moments of surprise.

I chose to blame these two:
My brothers, Jason (19) and Kevin (14), both comin' close to 6'
By rights, being one of the older kids in the house is near synonymous with "the biggest thing around." Then suddenly something happened and it leaves me wondering, who told these two they could get so big?

Don't get me wrong, I am secure in my shortness.  There are plenty of kind, strange tall-guys out there that will get that pineapple soda from the top shelf  for me, if I decide to go punk and spike my hair I will still clear doorways, and as a much wiser and similarly fun-sized cousin once said, it is really hard to find a boy shorter than you. ;)

Secret Files

Among my secret files on my computer is one I fill with the most amazing pictures I have come across.  I call it,

"Favorite Pictures Ever."

These are photos that I have ripped from your Facebook because they make me so...so happy. I encourage all to embrace these moments as they only better our world. Here are a sample few world bettering images:

I want to just say thank you to all of you who have made the hard times a little more livable.  I love you and remember, I laugh WITH you. ;)

Everyone else, you have been warned.

COOKIES!!! Nom nom nom.

My niece, Isabella turned three. Stacey decided to milk what is possibly the last year before the irrevocable princess stage sets in and throw a COOKIE MONSTER party. Take a moment to let the nostalgia seep through you and now prepare yourself for some X-treme cuteness...
...like seriously, your niece ain't got nothin' on Izzy.

I had some fun with the cake. 4 layers of yummy colorful and confetti awesomeness. I highly suggest cookie monster parties as the favors and decor are the same thing: Cookies
Let's be honest, 3 year olds given unlimited access to cookies = good party.
It's almost cannibalistic.

Below is one of my favorite pictures of all time.

Don't be fooled, she did that face on purpose. It's the attitude thing and deserves a cross link to... http://awkwardfamilyphotos.com/
