We're going to Disney Land!

WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY LAND!
We're going up with my sister and little family.  These were the pictures she just posted of her big announcement to them:

So excited. :)

Birthday date~Tricia's 24 now!

This is the awesome cake Adam built for me.  It has a white chocolate shell and when you pour hot fudge on it it melts the shell open into flower petals. Inside is a nutty Ghirardelli brownie with a wafer and raspberry garnish.  It's times like this that reaffirm to me that I married the right man. :)

Adam took me to the Tracy Aviary (a bird zoo) because he knows me so well.

Sun or Shadow

Hear Ye Hear Ye Year Ye
On Gobbler’s Knob on this magnificent Groundhog Day, February 2nd, 2013.
Punxsutawney Phil, the Seer of Seers, the Prognosticator of all Prognosticators, was summoned from his borrow in the old oak stump.
And after casting an appreciative glance to the thousands of faithful followers in attendance,
Phil stated in groundhogese, "I don't see my shadow. An early spring it must be! "

This is our 3rd Groundhog creation.

Of course the rat was lying through his teeth as we are still getting snow in mid April.

Playing in the Snow

Here is the view from our window.
So we went out and had some fun at this place:

It was a beautiful day and we were having lots of fun,

But the sledding just wasn't ideal. We just weren't getting the speed we wanted, see below.
So Adam and I got turbo sleds. Here are the results:

Visit with the not so little little brother

So I got to fly out and visit Kevin for a week while Dad was at a work conference in Hawai'i.

Fargo from the air
Me after a full day traveling

I drove the giant Rubicon jeep with mungo mud tires on and learned to fear no potholes.

I bonded with the birds, met the spaz dog, and got blizzarded in with Kevin.  This meant awesome movies, making indian food and sopaipillas and blizzard fizz's.

jamming out and showing off his skills
This dog gets a lot of love

Me and Cocoa
Kevin and Papaya & Cocoa & a trusty Towel. can you guess what movie we watched?

Fargo is the city with the cleanest air in the US.
combine this with fresh blizzard snow and you
get a slushy even germaphobe Tricia will eat. :)
Papaya (left) and Cocoa (right), my beautiful lovebirds

And for those who don't know the magic of Sopaipillas, here is an older picture of my two brothers enjoying them. Ah, how I love this picture. :)
